Hole By Hole Description |
| |
Number One is a 418-yard par 4 with a slight bend to the right. The green is guarded with three bunkers in the front. Tee shot should be aimed at the fairway bunkers and hit away.
A reachable 505-yard par 5 is Ridgeway’s second hole. Large green makes for a long putt if you don’t aim at the flag. |
Ridgeway’s number 3 is a 219 (from the tips) par 3. Sand surrounds the green, better be accurate.
Number four is a narrow 406-yard par 4. Do not be right as the woods guard the green very well from that side. A big hit will catch the down slope for a short chip to the green. |
A 420-yard dogleg awaits your next drive. Number 5 will tempt you to cut the corner, the reward is great, but tall oaks will knock down all but the best of shots.
A narrow green is your target for number 6, a 189-yard par three. Bunkers will catch you on each side.
Long and straight will help on number seven. A 520-yard par 5 will start narrow, open up, and then tighten back up at the green. Only the straightest of long hitters have a chance of eagle. |
Ridgeway’s number one handicap is next. A punishing 464-yard par four. Out-of-bounds on the left will punish a hooked drive, along with a fairway bunker. Big green with three strategically placed bunkers will grab a lot of shots. |
Number nine shows off our beautiful clubhouse. The lake and club frame this is a very pretty par three. |
A slight bend to the left hides the green from the number 10 tee-box. Watch out on the right, woods will prevent a clear shot to the green. |
Ridgeway’s longest hole, number 11, has a huge fairway. On this 565-yard hole, you need to be aware of the water on your approach shot.
A tight 462-yard par four is next. Don’t go left, as trees will prevent a shot to the green. Big hitters with a draw will benefit from the down slope.
Shallow green and big bunkers make this 173-yard par 3 harder than it looks. Watch the break on the green.
Slicers will be in the trees on number 14. Aim just to the right of the fairway bunkers for your best shot at the green.
If you have the big drive, try to hit over the mammoth fairway bunkers on the left of number fifteen. Only a long shot will put a wedge in your hand, a short shot will give you a long sand shot. |
Our number two-handicap hole has teeth. Water on the right side, woods on the left, sand all around the green and it is 465-yards. The lake works back in front of you 288-yards out, so big hitters may get wet. This is a real thinking golfer’s hole.
A true island green looks like a postage stamp as you stand on number seventeen tee box. A very big green will await you, however, slope will not make it easy.
Number eighteen, Ridgeway’s signature hole. Many hearts have been broke here. Watch the lake on your first two shots. Our logo oak tree will protect the green. Only the bravest will try for this 550-yard par 5 in two.
