Course Conditions

Our Golf course maintenance Standards are set by
our highly trained and
award winning golf course superintendents.

What standards do we use for grooming our golf course?

How do we maintain our greens?

Greens are mowed each day there is play and then rolled three times a week. The target is to roll on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. The greens are sprayed once a week for growth control, fungicide and other needed applications. This is done early morning on Monday or Tuesday.

Greens are aerated two times a summer. “Coreing,” the process of pulling a cylinder from the surface and replacing with sand.
“Deep Tine” aeration, the process of pushing a 16” rod through the surface down to the pea-gravel base, is done once in late summer. How do we maintain our Bunkers?

Greenside bunkers are raked daily. Fairway bunkers are raked in the morning if used the previous day.

How do we maintain our Tee Boxes?

Tees are mowed two times a week to the height of 3/8”. Target for mowing is Tuesday and Friday.

Aeration of the tees is done once in July.

How do we maintain our Fairways?

Fairways are mowed two times a week to the height of 1/2” and dragged for grooming once a week. Target schedule is mow on Tuesday, mow on Saturday and drag on Sunday.

Fairways are aerated in July.

How do we maintain our Rough?

The Rough is mowed once a week. Crew begins cutting on Monday and finishes on Friday.
